My thoughts about the Ohio Animal Release

People Fear what they do not understand, and one person doing something STUPID in this hobby will result in a disastrous knee jerk reaction that will effect us all. It is our responsibility to not only own and raise our exotic pets responsibly, but to educate the public and the media that the hobby is not to be feared or banned.

Again, the stats for people killed by horses, dirt bikes, atv and other hobbies far overshadow the very, very few accidents that happen in the exotic hobby... and 99.9% of the time anyone that is hurt in the exotic animal hobby/biz is the trainer/owner of the animals, not the public. Normal people do not let their animals loose on the public... this is the work of a sick, desperate man at the end of his rope (of course you will see animal rights activists sneak onto facilities and set animals free).

• Bennett Wallaby Breeder Animals: I am taking orders for Adult Bennett Wallaby. I can put together pairs or offer single animals. Any sex ratio is available. $2200 for a pair, with each female after that being only $1250 each. Males are $900 each. Single females are $1350 each.
  
  
• Serval Breeders: trio of Servals out of Europe, hand raised all 3 for $17500 for the entire 2.1 group, or $6800 for single cats. You are paying the pricing that the European market demands for these... but at present this is the only way to be sure that you are getting unrelated, fresh breeding stock. Africa's doors are closed, thus no wild caught Serval are available. If you want fresh breeding stock, unrelated to the animals you are currently working with... act now.

  This kitten is an F1 Savannah which is 75% Serval. Savannah's are hybird cats, much more difficult and expensive to breed than pure Servals... hence the higher costs. They give you the positive traits of a Serval and domestic cat, and are legal in may places that a pure Serval may not be.
• Northern Tree Shrews (Tupaia belangeri): $1800 each or two for $3200 (type of primitive primate) Get 'em while you can, these are obscure in the pet trade.

• Bat Ear Fox: 1.1 unrelated breeder pair of Bat Ear Fox $4800 -sold... preorder more

• Four-toed Elephant Shrew (Petrodromus tetradactylus): Available now, must go to a facility with a Zoo Name due to the airline that I will be using for these, they only do zoo to zoo transfers. These are uber scarce, and one cool small animal. These are not true Screws, and are rarely seen in captivity.
  
  
  
  
• Paca: captive born, bottle raised Paca that ship on the bottle $1500 each
  
  
  
• Giant Cloud Rats (the new gambian pouched rat): largest rat species (HUGE), . Makes a cool pet, and a real show stopper for outreach programs. Southern Luzon Giant Cloud rats are available now. $2500 each or $4500 per pair. Only a few available per yet, get them while I have some, the Southerns are the rarest in captivity.
